About the Captain
Michael Dischler
I’m a full-time firefighter here in Naples, FL, and I’ve been with the department for over 10 years. I grew up on the water with my dad and bought my first boat when I was 15. Some of the best memories of my life have come from being out on the boat, and now I want to share that same experience with others. I’m really looking forward to having you aboard and helping you make memories you’ll never forget.
My Life on the Water
I grew up spending every free moment on the water with my dad, learning how to boat and fish from a young age. By the time I was 15, I had saved up enough to buy my first boat, and that really fueled my passion for being out on the water. Over the years, I’ve explored the backwaters, flats, and offshore spots around Naples and the 10,000 Islands, always chasing new adventures. Fishing has given me some of the best memories of my life, and it’s a place where I feel most at home.
Why I started Fish N' Disch Charters
Starting this charter business was about more than just fishing, it was about creating experiences that people will remember for a lifetime. I wanted to give others the same kind of joy and connection to the water that has always been such a big part of my life. Whether it’s a family making memories together, or an angler chasing their dream catch, I love being part of those moments. Fish N Disch Charters is about turning a day on the water into something truly unforgettable.
